Collection: Powder Coating
To get started, we sandblast the items to strip old paint or rust off the parts so the powder coating has a nice surface to adhere to. From there, we clean the parts with a degreaser to remove any contaminants that may be left on the surface.
The paint is negatively charged, and the powder is positively charged using electrostatic charges, allowing the paint and the powder to adhere to each other more strongly, reducing the chance of getting runs in the finish.
The part is heated in a 375-degree oven for 40 minutes. Once it is cooled, it creates an incredibly tough and durable coating that is ready for use immediately.
Our powder coating systems are very popular since they offer superior saltwater protection.
